ARS-Services is a sole-proprietorship registered with the State of Minnesota in 1989.

      The owner, Mr. Adrian Swanson, is a graduate of the University of Minnesota School of Physics (BPhys‘60) and a scientific 'jack-of-all-trades'. He has over 30 years practical experience with the application of scientific instrumentation including: gas chromatography / mass spectrometry, molecular beam epitaxy, electron impact spectroscopy, nuclear magnetic resonance, computer programming, statistical analysis, electronic circuit design, and laboratory management.

      ARS Services is the exclusive manufacturer of ARS-200 Analog Output Kits. To keep cost of the kit  low and to give good value to our customer it is sold directly to the end user whenever possible.

      ARS Services also specializes in the custom computerization, upgrade and repair of older laboratory equipment.

      Currently interest is focused on the automated testing of geotechnical soil specimens for civil engineering applications. Work involves the instrumentation of test fixtures, data collection, reduction and analysis to ASTM standards, report generation and electronic transmission of results to clients. Methods include triaxial and direct shear testing. System programing based on VBA(6) and MS ACCESS(2003)
